The Sibly Chart
Chiron in the Fourth
The house contains the point Chiron. In a national chart I think that Chiron would represent serving, farming, and healing, among other things. Placed in the fourth house, our foundations would be in serving, farming, and healing. Chiron was in Aries, so the serving, farming, and healing would be pioneering or competitive.
Chiron was sextile Mars in the seventh house in Gemini, opposite Juno in the tenth house in Libra, and inconjunct mean Lilith in the ninth house in Virgo. These aspects would indicate comfort, conflict, and anxiety associated with our roots in serving, farming, and healing.
The sextile to Mars means serving, farming, and healing in our homeland would provide opportunities for, among other things, cleverly fighting our enemies or verbally energizing our allies. The opposition to Juno would indicate serving, farming, and healing would conflict with, among other things, being lazily jealous of our reputation or our fairly drawing toward us governance. The inconjunct to Lilith would indicate, at least to me, serving, farming, and healing at our foundation would bring about anxiety over, among other things, analytical feministing in our belief system or the reasonable claiming of their rights by foreigners.
Mars Ruler of Fourth
Mars was square Neptune in the ninth house in Virgo, sextile Chiron in the fourth house in Aries, trine Juno in the tenth house in Libra, semisquare the North Node in the eighth house in Leo, sesquiquadrate the South Node in the second house in Aquarius, and square the mean Lilith in the ninth house in Virgo. The aspects would indicate quite a bit of tension and struggle with regard competing and battling with our allies and enemies, which would affect our foundations, agriculture, and people, among other things.
The waning square from Mars to Neptune would indicate the our country would be achieving something when asserting our idealizing. With Mars in the seventh house and Neptune in the ninth house, one interpretation could be that we would be asserting our attitude toward marriage and divorce which would be an achievement coming out of our idealizing our belief systems. With Mars in Gemini and Neptune in Virgo, the asserting would be done thoughtfully and the idealizing reasonably.
The Mars sextile to Chiron was covered above. Here is a bit more. The sextile is a waxing sextile, since Mars – the faster point – is moving away from Chiron – the slower point. Mars and Chiron are also in mutual reception if we assume Virgo is ruled by Chiron. The opening sextile reaches out to gather. For Mars and Chiron in the Sibly chart, the reaching out would through taking action based on previous analyzing of where we come from. The mutual reception would indicate that acting and serving would be linked, for our country.
The trine to Juno in the 10th house in Libra is a waxing trine, which would indicate a clear flow of creativity between drawing artistic achievers toward us and activating flexible marriages, among other things. Since Mars rules Chiron, the easy flow would affect our serving, farming, and healing, in our homeland.
The semisquare to the North Node in the eighth house in Leo and sequiquadrate to the South Node in the second house in Aquarius would indicate tension around asserting ourselves when it comes to popularity and timing. Our taking action might cause irritation over popularity and agitation over unpopularity. The tension would affect us when we assert ourselves which, in turn, would affect our serving, farming, and healing; among other things.
The Mars square Lilith in the ninth house in Virgo would indicate a struggle between asserting ourselves curiously with our allies and enemies and our feministing analytically out of our beliefs, publications, and universities. The tension would affect our sense of our roots through the rulership of Mars over the fourth house in the Sibly chart.
The Constitution Chart
In the constitution chart, the fourth house has Pisces on the cusp. Since Neptune rules Pisces, the fourth house is ruled by Neptune – which was in the eleventh house is Libra in the constitution chart. The fourth house contains the Sun in Pisces and Mercury in Pisces.
The Sun in the Fourth
In the chart of a nation, the Sun represents existing, and being, among other things. With the Sun in the fourth house in Pisces, we would exist as our roots and our land and our existing would be watery, compassionate, and – at times – confusing. We would be an idealistic home as a country.
The Sun was conjunct Saturn in the third house in Pisces, square Chiron in the seventh house in Gemini, sequiquadrate Juno in the eleventh house in Libra, conjunct the nadir in Pisces and opposite the Midheaven in Virgo. All of these aspects are active aspects, so there would be a lot of tension and struggle in our being. The main themes in our being would be those of governing, working, drawing friendly countries toward us, and balancing our roots with our authority.
The Sun conjunct Saturn was covered under the third house. I will add here that both the constitution and the Sibly chart have a close, active, Ptolemaic aspect between the Sun and Saturn. For either chart, governing is a primary focus of existing as a country.
The waning square to Chiron in the seventh house in Gemini indicates that we would be achieving something, by existing idealistically at home, with regard to working with (or serving) our allies and enemies intellectually or verbally. The waxing sesquiquadrate to Juno in the eleventh house in Libra would indicate we would have the energy available, through existing, to draw toward ourselves an egalitarian goal, among other things.
The separating conjunction of the Sun to the Pisces Nadir and separating opposition to the Virgo Midheaven (a result of the event occurring at midnight local time) would indicate the essentially we exist in our compassionate roots, our idealistic patriotism, and that our existing would be released outward as critical or helpful or rational authority. The conjunction is an aspect of emphasis and the opposition is an aspect of release.
Mercury in the Fourth
Mercury in a national chart would represent communicating, instructing, or driving, among other things. With Mercury in the fourth house in Pisces, communicating would have been there at the roots of our country and we would communicate our patriotism. In Pisces, we would communicate idealistically and emotionally, sometimes in a confused or nebulous way.
Mercury was inconjunct Neptune in the eleventh house in Libra and square Ceres in the first house in Sagittarius. So our driving and communicating would have insecurity and tension associated with their focus on the homeland, but not a lot of ease and comfort.
The inconjunct to Neptune would indicate that there would be an edge to communicating our patriotism, coming out of idealizing culturally to friendly countries. The square to Ceres was covered in the first house, but I will add here that, it being a waxing square, our country would be putting down roots, with regard to the wild cycling of our appearance, in our communicating idealistically about our environment.
Neptune Ruler of Fourth
With Pisces on the fourth house cusp, Neptune rules the fourth house, since Neptune rules Pisces. Neptune was in the eleventh house in Libra in the constitution chart. With Neptune in the eleventh house in Libra, our roots would come out of idealistic aspirations; or behind our patriotism would be visionary radicalism; or our environment would be ruled by a confused legislature.
Neptune was inconjunct Mercury in the fourth house in Pisces; trine Venus in the third house in Aquarius; sextile Ceres in the first house in Sagittarius; semisquare the Part of Fortune in the ninth house in Virgo; and trine the mean Lilith in the third house in Aquarius. The aspects indicate that there would be ease, some anxiety, and some tension behind our roots and people.
The Mercury inconjunct was just covered; the trine to Venus and the mean Lilith are under the third house; and the sextile to Ceres is in the section on the first house. The waning semisquare of the Part of Fortune to Neptune would indicate some irritation, or a closing energy, between the happiness we take in the cleanness of our legal system and our idealizing the fairness of our goals; among other things.
