In this post I will look at the sixth houses of the Sibly and constitution charts. The sixth house of a chart for a nation represents the armed services, the farmers and farms, labor and laborers, the health care system and the employees of the health care system, dietitians and food as an element of health, our pets, among other things. I will start with the Sibly chart, then look at the constitution chart.
The Sibly Chart
In the Sibly chart, the sixth house has Taurus on the cusp. With Taurus on the sixth, as a country we would be patient, practical, and determined when it comes to our armed services, our agriculture, our diets, and our healthcare. The house contains just one of the points that I use, Uranus, which was in Gemini and near the seventh house cusp.
Uranus in Gemini
Uranus represents electrifying, inventing, and intuiting – among other things, and, in the sixth house in Gemini, would say we focus our electrifying, inventing, and intuiting on six house concerns, in a verbal or local way. We might locally electrify farms, invent written diets, or intuit mentally the needs of our armed forces.
Uranus made two of the close aspects that I use, a semisquare to Mercury in the eight house in Cancer and a square to Ceres in the third house in Pisces. The two aspects are active aspects, which would indicate struggle and tension with regard to our electrifying, inventing, and intuiting in our routine matters, but not much ease.
Mercury in an waxing semisquare to Uranus between the sixth and eighth houses would indicate that when we communicate as a country, which we would do in the area of power, we would be reaching out of our electrifying, inventing, and intuiting in the area of our armed forces, with a bit of a struggle – for one interpretation. With Cancer and Gemini involved, an emotional approach would struggle with a logical approach.
Juno in a waning square to Uranus between the third and sixth houses might indicate that logical radicalizing in the area of our laborers would have an achievement of drawing toward us socialist ideas, which achievement would be a struggle.
Venus as Ruler
The ruler of Taurus is Venus, which in the Sibly chart was placed in the seventh house in Cancer, and which makes none of the close aspects that I use. Since Taurus was on the sixth house cusp, Venus is the ruler of the sixth house. Venus in Cancer would make our approach to sixth house matter more emotional, caring, and active.
With the placement of Venus in the seventh house in Cancer, we might grow our armed forces out of the patriotic wants of war and peace, we might develop our agricultural sector out of the domestic wants of our allies and enemies, our healthcare industry might come out of a careful approach to policies toward marriage and divorce.
The Constitution Chart
In the constitution chart, Taurus was also on the sixth house cusp – and on the seventh house cusp. Since the sign covers the sixth house, sixth house matters must be developed before seventh house matters can be taken care of. For example, we would have to attend to our armed forces before we made peace or war.
Venus as Ruler
None of the points that I use were in the sixth house. Venus, the ruler of the sixth house, was in the third house in Aquarius. The energy behind the our sixth house matters would be friendly, social, and intellectual, since Aquarius is an air sign.
With Venus in the third house in Aquarius, we might build our armed forces out of making money intuitively in our neighborhoods. Our valuing electronic education might be behind our putting together a healthcare system. We might seek to make farming comfortable with inventive vehicles.
Venus was trine Neptune in the eleventh house in Libra and sextile Ceres in the first house in Sagittarius. Since the trine and sextile are easy aspects, the energy that works its way out in the sixth house would have easy and comfortable interactions.
With Venus in a waxing trine to Neptune in the eleventh house in Libra, valuing, building, and money making would flow creatively out of idealizing egalitarian goals. The valuing, building, and money making would release through building the armed forces and developing farm, labor, and health policies. This is one interpretation.
With Venus in a waxing sextile to Ceres in the first house in Sagittarius, we might reach out to gather inventive and radical ideas because of our awareness of the wild cycling of seasons. Our valuing the ideas would drive our agricultural development. This is one interpretation. More on Venus and the interpretation of Venus can be found under the post on the third house.
